Ethical Management
Employees of Duksung must not give or accept any form of monetary gift (cash, gift cards, fuel vouchers, etc.), entertainment, excessive hospitality, or gifts with a value exceeding KRW 50,000. Bribery or the provision of kickbacks or entertainment to secure or maintain business with clients is strictly prohibited. If such an item is delivered to an employee’s home, it must be refused, and the sender must be clearly informed. However, gifts valued under KRW 50,000 may be accepted once per year, with written approval from the responsible executive. Support or sponsorship from suppliers for personal events (e.g., weddings, funerals) or department gatherings is not permitted. Employees must also refrain from any form of gambling involving monetary stakes (e.g., golf bets, card games). Violations may result in serious disciplinary action, including termination.
Duksung employees must not solicit or exert any form of pressure on supplier employees, including private requests such as requests to enroll in insurance. Meals with suppliers should be taken at the company cafeteria whenever possible. If dining externally is unavoidable, the expense must be within socially acceptable norms.
Employees must greet visiting supplier staff members with courtesy and behave respectfully during external visits. Phone calls must be handled politely, without a commanding tone. Using authority or position to make unreasonable demands or seek compensation under the guise of work is strictly prohibited.
Duksung employees must not provide false information to customers for sales purposes in any business activities. This includes exaggerated advertising, false rumors about competitors, and collusion to gain unfair competitive advantage.
Employees must not use confidential or proprietary information obtained through their work for personal gain, including information of the company, or its suppliers or clients. Unless legally required, no such information should ever be disclosed to third parties or the public
Any unethical behavior, whether explicitly listed here or similar in nature, must be reported promptly to the department head or responsible executive. Whistleblowers are fully protected, and their confidentiality is strictly maintained.
All software and operating systems used on company devices must be legally licensed. The company conducts regular audits to ensure that all software used by employees is genuine and compliant.
Duksung does not use raw materials sourced from conflict-affected regions. To prevent such materials coming through unverified channels, we closely monitor our suppliers’ and agents’ procurement routes and require regular written confirmations.
